Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of receipts. Pre-launch — these terms will be finalized before the service is live.
Last updated: August 15, 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing this website or using Receipts, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Receipts is pre-launch; features described here may not be live.
2. What Receipts is — and is not
Receipts is an informational research tool. It checks the claims attached to a Solana token — claimed endorsements, referenced repositories, and on-chain characteristics — and reports evidence-linked findings for informational purposes only. Receipts is not a broker-dealer, exchange, bank, money transmitter, or investment adviser, and it does not provide investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Nothing in the service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.
3. Verdicts & evidence
Every verdict is a statement about a specific claim at a specific time — for example, that no matching post was found on an authenticated account as of a stated timestamp — and is presented with its supporting evidence. Verdicts describe claims; they are never a judgment of a token, a project, or a person. Verdicts are point-in-time findings and can change as new evidence appears. If you believe a verdict is wrong and can point to genuine evidence, contact us and we will re-verify promptly.
4. Eligibility & jurisdiction
You are responsible for ensuring your use of Receipts is lawful where you are. Certain features may be unavailable in some jurisdictions. You represent that you are not barred from using the service under applicable law.
5. Your responsibilities
- Securing your own wallet, keys, and devices. Sign-in uses a wallet signature only; we never ask for private keys or seed phrases.
- Reviewing the linked evidence yourself before relying on any verdict.
- Understanding that any trading decision you make is your own, based on your own judgment.
6. Risks
Token markets involve significant risk, including price volatility, fraud, thin liquidity, and total loss. Verdicts depend on third-party data sources that may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable, and a verdict reflects the evidence available at its timestamp — not a guarantee about a token’s future behavior or value. The absence of a negative finding is not an endorsement. You accept these risks.
7. No warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Receipts and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of assets, profits, or data arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms as the product develops. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
